New Towns

2011, 3-channel video, 07´23″

“New Towns" is an extension of previous workshop “Local Stories" . In the workshop, the urban legends and rumors of a newly-developed town were collected and re-edited into a radio drama. The second part I selected three most interest stories and interlace the narrative. In the 3-channel video each one channel is a interview, and they have different viewpoint on this newly-developed place. I want to discover the neglected part and the buried memories. Through providing them more connections to the surrounding environment, they might find another way to live on.
